Zega Pro cases from Touratech provide a dry and safe storage to adventure pilots around the world. The body and removable lid feature rounded lines with sturdy corner protection that is easily replaceable. Low-profile anchor loops provide a flat surface that makes the saddlebag a good seat at the campfire while allowing secure anchoring of additional soft luggage.

Equally as versatile as the Zega Mundo or Zega EVO cases, elegant, robust and with a wide selection of accessories, it is also available in three different sizes, as well as in silver and black anodized version. With a lightweight yet stable design, this side case is available in 31, 38 and 45 liters capacity, made entirely from 1.5 mm thick aluminum, waterproof and dustproof, manufactured with the best materials.

The aluminum cases of Touratech, consists of 3 parts that make up the entire suitcase. These are the lid and the base, which are joined to the case walls by rivets and a seal that makes them completely watertight. They are not welded, but are a Single 1.5 mm thick aluminum plate on the body, lid and base of the case.

This feature, with absence of spot welds, provides the side cases are fully resistant and indestructible. This total watertightness could have been a problem when going up/down mountain passes due to pressure differences, which could make it impossible to open the case. Therefore, Touratech has incorporated a safety valve which allows pressure equalization between the inside and outside of the trunk as you climb or descend mountain passes.

In terms of finishing, the Zega Pro and Zega EVO cases from Touratech is available with finishes in natural aluminum, silver anodized and black anodized. The anodizing treatment consists of an electrochemical process, which avoids the oxidation of the material, the aluminum is not only a very thin material, but also a very thin material, and therefore the ugly gray stains that can occur on aluminum as a result of oxidation.

To this process, some additives are added that allow coloring the material. Unlike painting the surface of the suitcase, by changing the color of the material the surface is much more resistant to minor scratches which we can easily see in the cases in natural aluminum or painted in black.

The plastic side corners on the Zega PRO and Zega EVO models are attached to the outside of the case, unlike other models in the industry where the corners are part of the case structure.  

We are not content with a simple plastic structure, trimmed with preformed aluminum parts just for visual appearance. The lid and base of the ZEGA Pro are welded together, resulting in maximum connection rigidity, high quality rivets in the base and liner. There are no welding seams on the edges, which often lead to a lack of watertightness. A high-quality silicone gasket provides maximum protection for the contents of the case.

The case lid, made of a single sheet of aluminum, is extremely resistant and is prepared to withstand an enormous amount of pressure.

The extremely robust protection strip of the housing is bolted on and can therefore be easily replaced and exchanged, e.g. after a fall.  The same applies to the stable protective corners of the case cover, which can be completely removed or opened only on one side, the latches serve as hinges.

The four extra luggage hooks do not protrude excessively above the surface of the case so that you can sit on the piece comfortably.

The ZEGA Pro not only impresses with its technology and finish, but also with many clever details and a modern design, where the rounded exterior shape is the center of attention.

Technical Characteristics of the ZEGA PRO Luggage System

StructureThe luggage rack of Touratech is the strongest in the industry with 18 mm diameter tubes made in Germany with 2 mm thick sidewalls forming a rectangular "ring" on both sides of the bike to give them the necessary structure. The innovative cross luggage rack system bolts directly to the bike's subframe, transferring the load from the panniers directly to the bike's chassis. Other manufacturers' mounting systems emphasize a "minimalist" look when the cases are off the bike, causing safety and reliability to be compromised in critical situations. Luggage racks are available in electropolished stainless steel or black stainless steel.

Quick disassembly: Aluminum cases Touratech Zega Pro are fixed to the stainless steel pannier rack by means of a steel tensioning wheel on the inner side of the case, which allows easy attachment/detachment of the case to the pannier rack. It allows a very safe, easy and fast adjustment.

Waterproof: All suitcases Touratech have a deep groove aluminum interface with silicone gasket. This provides dustproof and waterproof storage, even in heavy rain and water crossings. Some case manufacturers cut corners with a plastic interface between the lid and the case, which creates weak link and often results in breakage and water intrusion.

Double function latch: This latch functions as a release or as a hinge. It allows quick access by releasing one side while the other side functions as a hinge. Release both latches to completely remove the lid for easy packing or use as a camping tray.
