The zega EVO 'X' case system is a different version of the Zega EVO quick-locking system consisting of the design of the a suitcase with cutout for the exhaust on the right side. This allows the use of cases with the same dimensions and capacities on both sides, while reducing the overall width of the motorcycle with the cases on. This offers greater storage capacity, because it does not shrink, and a symmetrical appearance, in addition to the other features that make Zega EVO the market leader in motorcycle hard cases.
The Zega Evo X combines the robustness proven over many decades with an added bonus of comfortable handling - and is the perfect choice for the most demanding customersthanks to a completely new fastening system. The Zega Evo is attached to the luggage carrier with aabsolute stability, even when driving off-road! Thus, it combines aoptimal ergonomics with absolute comfort, without having to compromise on reliability.
The rounded contours of the gripping systems conform to the fingers and allow the release mechanism tois easy to operate allowing for a simple and smooth case attachment/detachment motion. Simply slide the hooks into your motorcycle's luggage rack, push the case all the way in and close the lever to ensure proper attachment of the case. To remove it from the bike, simply pull the clamping lever and lift the case out of its holder. The mechanism also works under difficult conditions: dirt, sand, mud, etc.
The aluminum cases of Touratech, the case is composed of 3 parts that make up the entire case. These are the lid and the base, which are joined to the case walls by means of rivets and a seal that makes them totally watertight. They are not welded, but are a single 1.5 mm thick aluminum plate in the body, lid and base of the case. This feature, withthe absence of welding points gives the side case total resistance and makes them indestructible.
Between the casing and the bottom there is a solid joint which is secured by special waterproof rivets. The cover features a tongue and groove profile with aintegrated silicone gasket ensures absolutely watertight sealing.
The cover and the base are now manufactured with adeep drawing manufacturing method,eliminating welded joints. The body and base are secured bystainless steel rivetsTested and sealed with silicone gaskets.
Thenew development ventilationEnsures that the case is not subjected to as much pressure when the altitude varies. This allows you to open a closed case in a valley even over the highest mountain pass on your route.
The plastic side corners on the Zega PRO and Zega EVO models are attached to the outside of the case, unlike other models in the industry where they are attached to the outside of the casethe corners are parts of the case structure.
In the new cover closures, we have retained the popular hinge function, which allows thethe cover can be opened from both sides or even removed completely.
The Zega Evo is already equipped with practical attachment pins for accessories. Therefore, you can easily attach the special ZEGA Evo accessory holders without having to drill holes in your new cases.
Inside the suitcase we can finda connecting cable from the inner wall to the suitcase lid that secures the suitcase lid to prevent it from getting lost. This cable can be easily removed, if desired.
As with the predecessor versions, the well-established stainless steel fastening eyelets are fitted as standard on the lid for securely attaching special case lid bags or other objects to your Zega Evo.
