CE Category II EN 13594:2015 LEVEL 1 KP certification, which the Alpinestars Tourer W-7 V2 Drysytar gloves meet, is a specific standard for protective gloves for motorcyclists.

EN 13594:2015: this is the specific European Union standard covering the requirements and test methods for protective gloves for motorcyclists. This standard ensures that gloves offer protection against mechanical hazards, such as abrasion, cutting, tearing and puncture. The "2015" version indicates that it is an update or revision made in that year.
LEVEL 1 KP: Level 1: Indicates that the glove offers a basic degree of protection. In the context of EN 13594:2015, it means that the glove has passed tests to protect against abrasion, cut, tear and puncture at a basic degree, but not necessarily at the highest possible level. KP: This mark indicates that the glove also offers knuckle protection. This additional protection is essential for motorcyclists, as the knuckles are vulnerable in the event of a fall.
A glove with "CE Category II EN 13594:2015 LEVEL 1 KP" certification meets stringent European safety standards and has been specifically designed and tested to protect motorcyclists from various risks, including additional protection in the knuckle area.
