Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings:

The general function and operation remain the same. However, compared to the Lock-it tank ring, the Basic tank ring is only locked purely mechanically. With the Lock-it tank ring, magnets assist in centering. The difference lies only in the two magnetic or plastic domes that are screwed to the tank ring. The model-specific "metal ring" is the same in both versions.

To note:

A tank bag with Lock-it counterholder cannot be fitted to a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The counter support of the tank bag and the tank ring must be of the same system.
