Stainless steel footrest for BMW R1200GS up to 2012

This footpeg is specially adapted to the design of the R1200GS. The lines and forms of the noble boxer engine are retained and it integrates perfectly into the overall image of the bike.
But these aesthetic requirements do not prevent it from being one of the best footpegs on the market, because it not only protects the cylinders, but also stabilizes the engine casing thanks to a bridge structure with a "theoretical bending point". This means that in most crashes this clamping thread is not subjected to such a high load and the engine casing remains intact: it would be a real pity if, once the valve cover has been protected, the engine casing were to break.
Thanks to additional supports on the main frame, the linkage bracket is also very stable and can therefore withstand high loads and forces.
The footrest is made of stainless stainless steel, a high-quality and noble material, as befits the R1200GS.
Installation is very simple and takes hardly any time at all. Most maintenance work can even be carried out without removing the footpeg.
Can be mounted together with the aluminum cylinder protection from Touratech (item number 044-0360).
