The ZEGA Mundo, which is manufactured using state-of-the-art production processes, is a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing aluminum case that can meet the challenges of everyday life or any adventure. The indestructible 1.5-millimeter-thick sheet aluminum body is specially riveted to ensure maximum strength. Thanks to the large weatherstripping and the special profile of the upper edge of the case body, the ZEGA Mundo is completely watertight and torsion-resistant. The complete range of ZEGA accessories allows the Mundo to be converted into a customized transport system for extreme conditions.

The ZEGA Mundo perpetuates the tradition of the legendary ZEGA Case. A simple,
rugged and aesthetically pleasing aluminum case that brilliantly masters any challenge, from everyday to adventure travel.
The ZEGA Mundo was developed with 100% pure functionality in mind. This
aluminum case unifies the concepts of practicality, strength and technical simplicity.
For maximum strength, the indestructible 1.5-millimeter-thick aluminum sheet body is riveted to the one-piece aluminum base plate with special rivets. In turn, this concept adds considerable extra rigidity. In addition, the generously integrated silicone bead guarantees the lifelong watertightness of the connection area. The same applies to the specially formed profile used for the upper end of the case body. It increases the rigidity of the case and thanks to the integrated gasket embedded in the lid profile guarantees a completely watertight seal.
The construction design and the materials chosen reflect the experience accumulated during more than 20 years of adventures and expeditions on the most demanding trails all over the world. The materials are resistant to hours and days of vibrations on undulating slopes, as well as point loads produced by speeding through deep undercuts. The high tensile and penetration strength of the material provides maximum resistance in the event of contact with obstacles, or in the worst case, if a fall occurs.
Produced in Niedereschach, the Mundo case benefits from state-of-the-art technologies, such as
those used in the manufacture of the ZEGA Pro and ZEGA Pro2 cases. This is complemented by the
precision of computer-controlled machinery and the extensive know-how of our intensively trained specialist staff.
Like the other cases in the ZEGA family, the Mundo is also equipped with lockable stainless steel hardware from
. These not only allow the lid to be completely removed, but can also function as hinges, so that the case lid can be opened forwards or backwards as required.
The case is secured with the proven Touratech system by means of the track-proof brackets
made specifically for each model from 18x2 steel tubing. On the ZEGA Mundo,
has replaced the previous large, knurled fixing nuts on the inside of the case with ergonomically designed ones that make handling even easier. Its quick assembly and absolutely vibration-free fastening, even after thousands of kilometers on trails, have made this system the first choice for long-distance travelers.
But the new ZEGA Mundo is capable of much more than just carrying luggage reliably
from A to B. The complete range of ZEGA accessories turns the Mundo into a customized
transport system.
The ZEGA Mundo is offered in three sizes with 31, 38 or 45 liters of volume.
