Hand guards Pure Defense for KTM 790 ADV / 790 ADV R / 890 ADV / R / 1290 S ADV (2021-)

The high-strength aircraft aluminum construction is precisely matched to your motorcycle model. The protector offers different possibilities, either a pure protection bar (Pure Defense) or a wide protector(Expedition Defense) with an additional spoiler attachment.

The system consists of two main parts, which are bolted together, and an attachment kit. There will always be enough space behind the guard for the levers to move freely. Annoying bumps, especially from the clutch lever, on the protector, as known from universal products, are a thing of the past with the Defensa protectors.

The Defensa components are made of a high-strength forged aluminum alloy, as proven in aircraft construction. With a thickness of 14 mm, the dimensions were chosen generously without losing sight of the weight issue. Precision in production ensures excellent dimensional accuracy and thus an exact fit.

Simple adaptation for on-road and off-road use, for pure off-road use, we recommend using the Fender "Pure" variant, where only the bracket is mounted. For mixed use there is the "Expedition" Fender, which is equipped with a plastic wind deflector.

The plastic housing is pushed over the main bracket and fastened to the threaded connection of the two aluminum components, ensuring a precise and secure fit.

If you need even more weather protection, you can also mount the separately available "Extension" spoiler. Of course, the Expedition Defense can be easily changed to Pure.
