Fresh Touch one-piece comfort seat, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/R (2021-)

The KTM 1290 Super Adventure is made for epic rides. Of course, the seat comfort has to be just right, because even after hours of riding, the adventurous rider wants to get off the machine with a smile on his face. That's why there are comfort seats from Touratech. From the shell to the upholstery, these seats, made with the highest level of craftsmanship, are thought out down to the smallest detail.

Model-specific seat core
Like all comfort seats from Touratech, the seat of the KTM 1290 Super Adventure has a precisely balanced seat angle that promotes an upright riding position. With the design of the seat surface, the developers of Touratech are able to avoid annoying forward sliding and relieve the coccyx with the typical concavity. The length of the step arch, which is reduced compared to the original equipment, is particularly practical. This makes it easier to reach the floor with the feet while the seat height remains the same.

Seat cover with Fresh Touch technology
Touratech uses a high-quality bi-elastic cover material with Fresh Touch technology for the comfort seats as standard. The special characteristics of the material ensure greater reflection of sunlight, which significantly counteracts the heating of the seat surface.

The seams of the cover have been carefully positioned so as to avoid areas that are particularly subject to pressure. And unlike many manufacturers, Touratech sealed the inside of the seams so that water cannot penetrate into the center of the seat.

As befits a sporty adventure bike, the 1290's comfort seat is made from a single piece. It is delivered complete, including the cockpit, so there is no time-consuming changeover process. And last but not least, the stitching shines bright orange as a tribute to the KTM company color.
