Unlike reinforced pants with additional layers, the Niche uses a single-layer construction with aramid fiber reinforcements at the knees and hips, providing increased abrasion resistance without compromising breathability. It also includes RISC™ Level 1 protectors on the knees and special pockets for inserting hip protectors.
