Leather laminate instead of membrane

The most important innovation of this all-terrain product has to do with moisture protection. The Destino Touring 2 HDry is made of the high-quality HDry leather laminate. The advantages are obvious. Whereas the loose membrane in lined constructions is always subject to a certain relative movement between the layers and the associated tensile and frictional forces, in the HDry leather laminate, the membrane and the outer material form an inseparable unit.

Water cannot penetrate between the leather and the membrane, there are no defect-prone seams and the material stress is clearly lower. In addition to significantly increased robustness, this leather laminate enhances the Destination Touring 2 HDry, above all, through significantly improved breathability.

Sophisticated safety concept

This boot features an elaborate safety concept, with a robust sole, shin and ankle protectors, a double layer of leather on the heel and forefoot, as well as thermal protection on the inside of the leg. The triple fastening, by means of solidly screwed buckles, guarantees a secure fit. Certification to the latest CE standard guarantees the protective effect of the protectors.

Comfortable and practical

Despite being equipped with robust protectors, the Touring 2 HDry is extremely comfortable. In addition to the HDry leather laminate, the Air-Pump insole contributes to a pleasant climate inside the boot through efficient air circulation. The possibility of opening the shaft wide makes putting the boot on and taking it off especially easy.

When closed, the Touring 2 HDry is extremely slim, which is very useful for wearing under pants. The width of the shaft can be individually adjusted by means of Velcro fasteners and adjustable buckle closures. Flex zones ensure good ankle mobility.

The flat-cut forefoot area allows for good shifter feel, while the robust reinforcement of the impact zone when shifting gears protects the boot from abrasion. As a bonus, the Touring 2 HDry, like all boots in the Destino family, features a removable stainless steel cable to secure it against theft.
