Touratech Suspension offers a -35mm lowering kit consisting of fork springs, lowering rods , fork oil and lubricating paste. With these springs you not only reduce the height but also give the Yamaha Tenere 700 a higher performance in terms of handling and front braking. They have been developed for offroad and touring riding.

The lowering kit from Touratech Suspension consists of fork springs and a set of matching lowering links. Therefore, you get the best possible lowering at -35 mm with consistently good handling of the Yamaha 700 Tenere. The chassis also offers good response and high safety in the border area after conversion.
In addition, a progressive replacement spring can be installed on the OEM shock. Our recommendation is to have a specialized workshop install the replacement springs. Possibly the side stand and main stand will need to be adapted to the new length.
This kit not only reduces the height of the Yamaha T7 but the installation will also give you a significant improvement in handling and front braking, both offroad and touring.
They allow for a smooth ride at slow speeds, but when the road becomes rough, these springs become much firmer. No modifications to the forks or rear shock are necessary.
They operate using a very soft spring rate for the first 35mm (1.37") of travel and a normal progressive rate for the rest, giving you a suspension system that is 35mm shorter under weight, but a normal unweighted length.
The lowering link provided in this kit replaces the original link to lower the rear of the motorcycle to match the front. It can be installed without removing the rear shock or replacing the shock spring, eliminating the need for a spring compressor and making it easy to install in your own garage.
