Floating piston design

The floating piston separates the damping fluids, oil and nitrogen, allowing them to work separately. As a result, shock response is finer.Precise, high-performancedamping even at very high damping frequency (bad roads, dirt tracks). The shock absorber cools better and restrictions are minimal for the mounting position of the shock absorber on the motorcycle.

Advantages

✓ The shock absorber is made of aluminum. This keeps its weight to a minimum. All its components are designed for heavy use on heavy touring motorcycles. It has special low-friction seals. As a result, wear is minimal and the shock absorber extends its service life.

✓ Heavy-duty stainless steel fixing bolt bushings are installed in the spring eye. They ensure that the securing bolt is firmly seated without play even under maximum loads.

✓ Extreme hydraulic preload through a well-positioned and easily accessible handwheel.

✓S hock absorber settings were developed according to the experience and requirements of Touratech. They are based on many kilometers ridden and experiences gained from using the Touratech Race Team.

✓ The extreme compression damping setting always has separate high and low speed settings. This allows for highly individualized compression / rebound adjustment. Perfect adaptability to changing requirements.

✓ Separate Extreme external reservoir in the damping assembly. Means that the damping system is better cooled when riding, while giving the shock absorber greater resilience and a longer service life.

✓ The QR code on the shock absorber contains individual shock absorber data. Simply scan with a smartphone to access shock absorber-specific information. Information about the factory setting of the shock absorber is always available. It can be reset if set incorrectly.
