This DDA / Plug & Travel rear shock from Touratech Suspension is the premium class in terms of suspension technology for your BMW R1200GS Adventure (LC) and R1250GS Adventure from 2017,with BMW DDC equipment.

This rear shock absorber is simply exchanged for the BMW DDC shock absorber. The existing plugs and switches on the handlebars are used as usual. This strut is integrated into the motorcycle via the original BMW control unit.

At the heart of this shock absorber is Tractive's developed and patented DDA high-performance valving.

This means that the damping can be adapted to any driving situation in a fraction of a second. For high loads on long-distance trips, our suspension struts have larger piston diameters and therefore more oil volume. This results in better cooling with a high damping frequency. The shock absorber and damping are more stable and the joints are less stressed.
