Rear shock absorber "Extreme" Touratech Suspension for BMW R1200GS (LC) / R1200GS Adventure (LC) (2013-2017)

The rear shock absorber Touratech Suspension Extreme does not adjust automatically and continuously. The necessary adjustments are made by hand and the motorcycle is balanced according to the payload. The PDS hydraulic puncture protection ensures that the spring elements do not "hit the ground" even in the most difficult terrain conditions and with heavy luggage.

The "Extreme" rear shock absorber from Touratech Suspension for the BMW R1200GS (LC) and Adventure guarantees more stability and comfort and thus more safety and riding pleasure, even in the most difficult terrain and over thousands of kilometers of gradients.

The "Extreme" shock absorber was manufactured by Touratech with the same precision components and parts that have already proven themselves on our chassis for thousands of kilometers under the toughest conditions. This means: any volume of luggage from the rear bag to the loaded luggage system and/or passenger weight is absorbed by the Extreme tuning area.

Balancing the motorcycle can be done easily and quickly by means of a handwheel and by using the hydraulic spring preload. Damping is adjusted to the expansion tank, allowing effective and precise suspension tuning to suit every personal riding style, every time.

The PDS hydraulic puncture protection also effectively prevents mechanical contact at the end stop of the spring travel.

To avoid error messages on the display related to the DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) system when replacing the Touratech Suspension Extreme chassis, Touratech has an "optional" shutoff plug (01-045-5879-0) for BMW. This ensures that the driving modes: - ASC, ABS and DTC continue to function properly.

The basic configuration installed here is designed for drivers up to 100 kg including luggage. Adjustments are possible for much higher payloads or other unusual requirements.
