Touratech Suspension Cartridge Kit Extreme for BMW F800 GS Adventure from 2013 onwards

Simply put, the Touratech Suspension Cartridge Kit Extreme is a shock tube for the fork and the ultimate expression of suspension technology. The Closed Cartridge mounts to the original fork. This feature allows the original fork bridge/handlebar support, brakes, wheel guide and steering geometry to be retained. No additional modifications to the fork are required.
This Closed Cartridge is specifically designed for long-haul touring and applications where load and riding conditions change frequently and dramatically, as well as for situations where the demands are at their highest.


This means for you:
that the Extreme kit's adjustment range balances any volume of luggage, from a rear bag to a fully loaded luggage system and/or riding with a passenger. Preload, rebound and compression are fully adjustable from the top. The oil in the shock absorber is contained in a closed cartridge, which makes it possible to dose the amount of oil exactly. As a result, the Closed Cartridge offers a significantly more responsive and comfortable fork response. The extremely precise damping settings allow precise, effective adjustment to suit your personal riding style at all times and for all road surfaces and riding conditions, regardless of whether you are riding on fast roads, secondary roads, trail sections, long-distance tours with lots of luggage or a fast, sporty riding style. Should the front wheel encounter extreme road conditions, the integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" prevents the fork from reaching the mechanical stop.

Features of the Touratech Suspension Closed Cartridge:

- Independent rebound adjustment with 20 clicks (1 bar).
- Compression adjustment with 20 clicks (1 bar).
- For precise damping adjustment at high damping frequencies and loads (rough roads, track with luggage).
- High damping stability and resistance thanks to a 35 mm piston.
- Closed Cartridge construction, which allows only the oil required for lubrication to be present in the fork, as the damping oil is contained in a closed cartridge.

- Damping oil (cartridge) and nitrogen in a nitrogen capsule at the base of the cartridge.
- Provides very responsive response as well as exceptional fork stiffness and stability.
- Separation of oil and nitrogen prevents foaming and thus stick-slip effect in the fork.
- Unchanging shock performance at all times, even under extreme conditions.
- The fork does not bottleneck, as each cartridge has an integrated "Hydraulic Endstop" to prevent this.

The base setting is defined for demanding adventurers with luggage.
Adaptations to exceptional requirements are possible. In this case we adapt the shock tube with a spring of the appropriate spring hardness to your personal requirements as well as other configurations.
