Rear shock absorber from Touratech Suspension for BMW F850GS from 2018 DDA / Plug & Travel

This DDA / Plug and Go suspension from Touratech Suspension is made from the same precision components and elements that have already proven their worth in our shock tubes, tested over thousands of miles in the toughest conditions. The heart of this shock tube is the high-performance DDA valve developed and patented by Tractive. Thanks to it, the damping can be adapted in tenths of a second to every driving situation. Our shock absorber tubes, which are subjected to high stresses during long journeys, have a larger piston diameter and thus a larger oil volume. As a result, they have better cooling and a higher damping frequency. The shock absorber tube and the suspension itself are therefore more stable and the seals do not suffer as much.

Important note:
- With this suspension solution, it is recommended to replace the front and rear shock absorber tubes together.
- This is the only way to achieve the best ride behavior with this premium suspension.

The basic configuration installed here is adjusted for a rider including luggage weighing up to 100 kg. Adaptations are possible in case of much higher loads or other special requirements. In this case we adapt the shock absorber tube with a higher spring hardness to your personal requirements as well as other configurations.
