Touratech Extreme EVO suspension for Yamaha Tenere 700 (2019-)

The Touratech Suspension EVO shock for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 focuses on maximum performance in extreme conditions. The new piston design of the shock absorber has made it possible to optimize the oil flow behavior. Even at higher damping frequencies, such as during fast trail riding, oil foaming is prevented. In this way, the damping behavior of the shock absorber Touratech Suspension EVO remains absolutely constant over a wide load spectrum. In addition, the new low-friction seal of the enormous 16 mm piston rod has extremely low friction values, resulting in exceptionally low breakaway torque and responsive response. Annoying shocks, also known as slip-stick effect, are foreign to EVO shocks. These characteristics guarantee the best traction, stability and comfort in all conditions.

Easy situational setting and balance adjustment

The especially robust "EVO Preload Adjuster" guarantees simple and quick adjustment of the motorcycle's balance to the respective load condition - solo rides, or rides with a companion plus lots of luggage. The spring preload can be easily adjusted in a wide range of settings to a comparatively low operating pressure by means of the large, easy-to-grip handwheel.

Damping

In line with the simple spring preload, this high-end shock has the best rebound adjustment ever made on a motorcycle shock absorber. Precise coordination results in optimum tire-to-ground contact without unpleasant vibrations or rear end sag, ensuring maximum riding dynamics and the highest level of safety.

Compression damping can be adjusted in a wide range of settings. Without the need for tools, even those with less experience can make individual and reproducible settings that take into account damping at high and low speeds.
