Shock absorber Touratech Suspension (-20 mm) for Triumph Tiger 900 Rallye Pro year 2020 Type Extreme

This shock absorber is perfectly suited to touring and driving with frequent dramatic changes in load and driving conditions, and the most extreme demands.

The Extreme shock is equipped with a Position Sensitive Damping System (PDS) , which uses a second damping piston to provide hydraulic bottom-out protection.

Even fully loaded with luggage in the most extreme off-road conditions, the bike will not bottom out and the shock is protected against mechanical overload. The damping characteristics change according to the road surface.

When riding in most conditions, the shock adjusts comfortably for less strenuous riding, before the PDS kicks in for the last part of the shock's stroke.

Features

- The shock is set up based on our experience with the Triumph Tiger 900 Rallye Pro and is configured "ready to ride".

- Parameters include vehicle weight / shock pivot / build conditions / test rides.

- The shock absorber described here is designed for up to 100 kg rider weight including travel luggage.

- The front and rear sections of the motorcycle must be adjusted for all chassis solutions.

- If only one component is changed, optimum handling will not be achieved.

IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend not to slide the fork tubes up into the fork clamp.

This has an extremely adverse effect on the handling of the motorcycle.

Please note:

To ensure the parked stability of your Triumph Tiger 900 Rallye Pro after it has been lowered, we recommend that you use a shorter stand and/or the center stand.

The basic configuration installed here is designed for passengers with up to 100 kg of additional luggage. Modifications are possible for a heavier rider (over 100 kg) and / or if the bike is usually ridden with a passenger / with luggage. In this case, we individually modify the shock absorber to meet your needs.
