Shock absorber Touratech Suspension (-25 mm) for Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin of 2020 Type Extreme

The Extreme shock is equipped with a Position Sensitive Damping System (PDS), which uses a second damping piston to provide hydraulic protection against bottoming out .Even loaded with luggage in the most extreme off-road conditions, the bike will not bottom out and the shock is protected against mechanical overload. Damping characteristics change according to the road surface. When riding in most conditions, the shock adjusts comfortably for less strenuous riding, before the PDS kicks in for the last part of the shock's stroke.

✓ If only one component is changed, optimum handling will not be achieved.

Important

We strongly recommend not to slide the fork tubes up into the fork clamp. This has an extremely adverse effect on the handling of the bike.

Please note:

To ensure the parked stability of your Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin after it has been lowered, we recommend that you use a shorter stand and/or the center stand.

The basic configuration installed here is designed for passengers with up to 100 kg of additional luggage. Modifications are possible for a heavier rider (over 100 kg) and/or if the bike is usually ridden with a passenger / with luggage.
