The ExploreHP / PDS emulsion shock absorber can be adjusted by a handwheel that adjusts the hydraulic spring preloadto match theload of large touring luggage .

The PDS system provides hydraulic protection that prevents bottoming out even when carrying full touring gear in the most extreme off-road conditions .

The shock absorber is protected against mechanical overload.

Damping characteristics change according to the road surface. In most riding conditions, the shock absorber provides smooth response and adjusts comfortably for less strenuous riding.

✓ The front and rear sections of the motorcycle must be adjusted for all chassis solutions.

✓ If only one component is changed, optimum handling will not be achieved.

IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend not to slide the fork tubes up into the fork clamp. This has an extremely adverse effect on the handling of the motorcycle.

Please note: To ensure the parked stability of your Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin after it has been lowered, we recommend that you use a shorter stand and/or the center stand.

The basic configuration installed here is designed for passengers with up to 100 kg of additional luggage. Modifications are possible for a heavier rider (over 100 kg) and/or if the bike is usually ridden with a passenger / with luggage.
