Shock absorber Black-T Stage3 for BMW RnineT / Racer / Pure (2017-)

Whatever you use your BMW RnineT, RnineT Racer and RnineT Pure for, the wide range of adjustability allows you to get better balance and damping performance than you could with standard components. The Stage3 emulsion shock can be adjusted via a hand wheel that adjusts the hydraulic spring preload to match the luggage load.

Precisely tuned damping allows you to tailor the bike to any need or road condition and intended use, regardless of highways/highways, back roads, country roads or a fast, ambitious riding style.

General

✓ It is configured and tuned ready for use based on our experience with the BMW RnineT.

✓ Parameters are: vehicle weight / shock pivot point / design constraints / test rides.

✓ As with all suspension solutions, the rear and front of the bike must be modified simultaneously. If only one component is modified, optimal handling will not be achieved.

Techniques

✓ The shock absorber housing is made of aluminum. This results in the lowest possible weight.

✓ Equipped with special low-friction seals with integrated Teflon back-up ring for low wear and long shock absorber durability.

✓ Emulsion construction and finer damper responses.

✓ Large 16 mm chrome-moly steel stem for maximum stability and durability.

✓ 46 mm damping piston with special configuration of Touratech.

✓ The suspension spacer is fitted with robust stainless steel bushings for the set screws. This allows the set screw to be tightened firmly and without play, even under the highest loads.

✓ All assemblies and components are designed for intensive travel use.

✓ High End hydraulic preload via an easily accessible and well-positioned handwheel.

✓ Fully service-enabled. This enables permanent maximum driving dynamics.

* Basic configuration is designed for pilots up to 100 kg and additional luggage. It can be modified for heavier riders (over 100 kg) and / or if the bike is normally ridden with two passengers / with full luggage.
