Explore Suspension Set for BMW R1200GS (2004-2012)

The Explore Suspension set from Touratech for the BMW R1200GS is the right choice for long distance travel and touring routes. These shocks offer a wide range of adjustability with plenty of reserves to meet the demands of motorcycle touring.

Their floating piston design, hydraulic preload and fine tuning of damping allow suspension settings more suitable for different load conditions than is possible with the bike manufacturer's standard components.

You can easily and quickly restore the bike's balance using a hand wheel that adjusts the hydraulic spring preload. The damping adjustment on this level 2 shock allows the necessary degree of control over bump and rebound to adjust the shock to your individual riding comfort needs.

The basic setting installed here is designed for drivers weighing up to 100 kg including luggage. Adjustments are possible for much higher payloads or other unusual requirements. We will then use a spring with a higher spring rate and other settings to individually adapt the shock absorber to your needs. Use our landing gear check sheet and send us the completed form.
