The level 2 shock tube is the best choice when the BMW R1200GS is to be used for long rides and trips. This shock tube model offers a large adjustment range and large reserves for the demands of motorcycle touring. The split piston construction, hydraulic spring initial tension and fine-tuning damping allow your motorcycle to be adapted to the load states more precisely than with the motorcycle manufacturer's standard components. The balance of the motorcycle can be quickly and easily re-established with the caster by means of the hydraulic initial spring tension. The damping adjustment of this Level 2 shock absorber tube allows you to influence the level of traction and pressure as necessary in order to apply your personal riding comfort requirements to the shock absorber tube.

=> The shock absorber settings were developed according to the experiences and requirements of Touratech.
*** Based on the experiences and many touring kilometers of the Touratech Race-Team.
=> Separating piston construction. Thus oil and nitrogen - the damping fluids - can act separately.
*** Good reaction of the damping tube.
*** High and precise damping performance, even at very high damping frequencies (roads or tracks in poor condition).
*** Improved shock tube cooling.
*** Minimal restrictions on the mounting position of the shock absorber tube on the motorcycle.

If you have mounted a larger tank on your motorcycle than the original one or have made modifications to
additional luggage bags, adaptations can be made. We adapt the shock absorber tube
by means of a spring with a higher damping ratio individually to your requirements. Please use our suspension test form and send it back to us after completion.
