Rear lower suspension adjustment deTouratech(-50mm) for BMW R1200GS (2004-2012) type *Level1*

This shock tube is perfect for reducing the seat height (-5cm) on the BMW R1200GS. At the same time your BMW R1200GS remains a clean fit and is very suitable for touring. The shock tube of the Level1 model offers a large adjustment range and large reserves for the demands of motorcycle touring. The performance of the shock tube allows the exact balance of your motorcycle to be matched. At the front of the BMW R1200GS the appropriate damper tube must be mounted to compensate (see Key features at a glance). To adapt to the load, the spring pre-tension can be adjusted to the size of the luggage with the adjustment tool. Adjusting the damping of this Level1 shock absorber tube allows you to influence the level of traction and pressure as necessary to be able to apply your personal riding comfort requirements to the shock absorber tube.

Note:
To give your BMW R1200GS a stable position after lowering the suspension, we recommend the side stand (standard length) and, alternatively, the main stand from BMW.
These components are available from your BMW dealer.


The Level1 shock tube configured here with its adjustment possibilities is very suitable for this model of
motorcycle. The suspension has to be adjusted almost only once to the full suspension setting.
With full/empty tank or bag on tank, due to the combination of the shock absorber tube with
the Telelever BMW, no adjustments are necessary on the road.

In case you have mounted a larger tank on your motorcycle than the original one or have made modifications to
additional luggage bags, adaptations can be made. We adapt the shock absorber tube
