This damper tube has been specially configured for the Telelever front wheel guidance of the BMW R1100GS.. The main advantages of the Telelever* system are supported by the precise reaction of the shock tube Touratech. The large adjustment range has allowed us to adapt the front of the motorcycle even to the demands of an extreme long-distance ride with extensive stages over tracks and high loads. The split-plunger construction and fine-tuned damping allow for more precise balancing and tuning than with the motorcycle manufacturer's stock components. To match the balance of your motorcycle, the spring pre-tension can be adjusted with the adjustment tool depending on the rear shock tube model used. The damping setting of this Level1 shock absorber tube allows you to influence the traction and pressure level as necessary to be able to apply your personal riding comfort requirements to the shock tube.

The Level1 shock absorber tube configured here with its adjustment possibilities is very suitable for this model of
motorcycle. The suspension must be adjusted almost only once to the full suspension setting.
With full/empty tank or with bag on tank, due to the combination of the shock absorber tube with
the Telelever BMW, no adjustments are necessary on the road.

Properties of the suspension damper tube Touratech Level1:
+ The damper tube housing is made of aluminum.

+ Special seals with low friction are mounted.
=> This results in very low wear and long service life of the shock absorber tube.
+ Steel bushings for the clamping bolts are mounted in the eye of the shock absorber tube.
=> This results in a stable and backlash-free seating of the clamping bolt even under the highest loads.
+ All elements and components are designed for intensive use with heavy touring motorcycles.
+ Shock absorber settings have been developed according to the experiences and requirements of Touratech.
=> Based on the experiences and many kilometers of travel of the Touratech Race-Team.
+ Separating piston construction: So the shock absorber fluids oil and nitrogen can act separately.
=> Achieves a good reaction of the shock tube.
=> High and precise damping performance, even at very high damping frequencies (bad roads or tracks).
=> Better cooling of the shock tube.
=> Minimal restrictions on the mounting position of the shock tube on the motorcycle.
+ This shock tube can also be mounted on the front of the BMW R1200GS due to its reduced mounting space.
+ QR barcode on the shock tube with individualized shock tube information.
=> This provides easy access to shock tube-specific information when scanning with the smartphone.
=> Information on the basic setting of the shock tube always accessible. Reset option in case of a wrong setting.



In case you have mounted a larger tank on your motorcycle than the original one or have made modifications to
additional luggage bags, adaptations can be made. We adapt the shock absorber tube
by means of a spring with a higher damping ratio individually to your requirements. Please use our suspension test form and send it back to us after completion.
