The concept

The extensive experience of this reputable garment manufacturer was the ideal basis for implementing our ideas. Together they defined the requirements of the Touratech World2 Partner. One of the most important requirements was maximum ventilation of the suit in case of high temperatures and physical exertion. On the other hand, absolute wind- and water-tightness was required in case of adverse weather conditions. Naturally, passive safety for the driver was at the top of the list. Aspects such as perfect fit by means of width adjustment, variable cuffs and collars, zippers, etc. are already evident in the cooperation of two competent partners such as Touratech and Stadler. If someone wanted to reduce the basic concept of the suit Touratech to a simple formula, this should be: 3 in 1.
That is: with the Touratech Companion World2 you get three costumes in one.
With the Compañero World2 we comply with the French ministerial decree concerning the reflective surfaces (150cm² minimum) of motorcycling clothing.

Maintaining the sizes of the Worldwide and Boreal Companion union zipper allows jackets and pants to be freely combined.

The level 2 protectors use the latest technological advances and offer the highest possible level of safety at the present time, providing maximum protection for all parts of the body at risk! Of course, the position of the protectors can be varied, as only protectors that do not interfere should be used.


Partner World2 summer

The essential piece of the Touratech Compañero World2 is a lightweight summer suit. The use of CORDURA® Air on the front and back of the jacket and on the trouser legs allows a large surface area for airflow. With its values for tear and wear resistance, this comfortable synthetic fiber lives up to the times. However, the parts most exposed to falls are reinforced with CORDURA® 2000. The number 2000 here means that the yarn thickness is particularly robust. The complete equipment of the Touratech Compañero World2, with CE-approved protectors, is exemplary. Extensive reflective applications ensure passive safety thanks to good visibility. Jacket and pants can be transformed into a combined suit if necessary thanks to the long connecting zippers. In addition to these strengths, the Touratech Compañero World2 offers countless details that make it a comfortable and practical companion for both long and short trips. Two large exterior pockets at the front of the bag accommodate everything that needs to be within easy reach at all times while on the move. The cell phone has its place on the forearm. Valuables disappear into the large inner pocket for added protection. A removable rear pouch offers room for the laminate jacket.
A removable backpack provides space for the laminated suit or a drinking system. In addition, a drinking tube holder can be attached to the special eyelet.
Thanks to the large Velcro adapter, the jacket can be ideally adjusted.
Diagonal openings in the cargo pockets of the pants allow convenient access to the pockets even when seated.



Partner All Weather add

For colder days or rainy days, the second layer of the Touratech World2 companion: the laminate suit. Perfectly adapted to the cut of the summer suit, it is simply placed on top. A good trick is to empty the pockets beforehand and store the utensils in the pockets of the suit on top, which are spacious and easy to access, and naturally waterproof. Touratech has chosen three-layer laminated GORE-TEX® (CORDURA®) as the material of choice. With this composite fabric, the inner lining, the weather membrane and the robust upper material are welded into a single unit. This means: the laminate is not overstretched, does not bag and always fits snugly. The most important property of this outer suit is, of course, its wind and water tightness. And since the three-layer laminated GORE-TEX® (CORDURA®) is a functional material, the suit is also completely breathable. The smartest thing about the Touratech Compañero World2 is that the wind- and waterproof membrane is the outer layer of this garment system. The lightweight summer suit retains an air cushion inside and thus becomes a thermal liner. An additional insulating layer, such as sheepskin underwear, is only necessary in case of extreme low temperatures. In winter conditions the optional storm collar is always welcome. If the laminate suit is worn in the case of vague weather conditions in the in-between seasons, ventilated zippers with a good seal allow for cooling if necessary.
Thanks to modern high-tech materials, the rain combination is 10% lighter and can be folded more compactly than its predecessor.
Two Aquaseal zippers on the front and a long zipper on the back ensure ideal ventilation and thus maximum comfort.
Especially long zippers on the sides of the legs make it easier to put it on or take it off even when wearing boots. The 2-way zipper can also be used as an opening to access the pockets of the summer pants.
The membranes that additionally protect the trouser bottoms, both inside and out, prevent unsightly chafing of the high-quality materials against the motorcycle frame or boot buckles.



The leisure jacket

And where is the third suit? Quite simply. The membrane suit jacket is not only functional, it is also very beautiful. It has nothing to fear from any comparison with functional jackets in the outdoor segment and is a practical, waterproof and breathable companion whether taking a ride around town or on all excursions where you can't take your bike. The backpack

Where to put the All Weather add? In the backpack!
The backpack created specifically for the Compañero World2 provides enough space for the All Weather jacket and pants. Alternatively, it can also be used for hydration packs or other useful items.
The backpack can be attached to the jacket directly, permanently and wobble-free by means of a zipper. Should it ever become too heavy, it can simply be hung from the handles in the classic way a backpack is carried. Alternatively, by means of its compression straps, it can also be attached to the top of our ZEGA aluminum cases. And last but not least, of course, it can also be used as a normal leisure backpack. In short: a real all-rounder!
