Revit Poseidon 2 Goretex pant

The Revit Poseidon 2 pant is the motorcycle pant that complements the Revit Poseidon 2 jacket. Both are part of Revit's new 2018-2019 fall and winter collection, and come to follow the philosophy that once characterized the Poseidon, that is, 100% waterproof and adventurous functionalities at a price below the top of the range.

Available in black and silver, the pants combine perfectly with its corresponding Revit Poseidon 2 jacket, although the more daring will be able to combine black and white in each of the garments.

But let's get down to the nitty-gritty with all the features that define this motorcycle pant. First of all, let's talk about the Gore-Tex. These new Poseidon have the Gore-Tex layer laminated inside the jacket's own cordura. It keeps water out and reduces the feeling of dampness. That translates into a dry body that maintains body temperature at all times. As you know, moisture is a rider's biggest enemy when it comes to staying cool on the bike, and in that sense, these pants are more than up to the task.

The laminated Gore-Tex extends through a layer of three-layer 400D Cordura from the waist to the knees. The laminated Gore-Tex on the inside is complemented by an inner liner, completing a three-layer ensemble. Below the knees, the garment is in two layers (cordura and GoreTex membrane) to make it lighter, more manageable and capable of fulfilling other functions that we will describe later.

Poseidon 2 pants: Pockets, zippers and functions

Heat-sealed pockets at the waist to keep water out, sliding zipper (or comfort zipper, as they call it at Revit Moto) and VCS ventilation panels on the thighs. These panels create ventilation through the pant to alleviate hot weather, yet keep water out when opened, thanks to Revit's AquaDefence flap, which creates a secure environment through the opening. The panels are attached to the pants by means of a magnetic button that is easy and safe to use.

At the bottom of the pants, there are multiple adjustments to adapt the garment to each type of rider. Rev'It has designed a system by which the rider can comfortably wear the boot on the outside of the pants, and also inside, according to the desire of each rider. It does this with a zipper on the side of the lower part, which is complemented by a set of velcro straps that extend to the middle part of the calf. Loose or tight? With this system the rider can choose how to wear his Revit Sport pants.

This system is completed with adjustments below the knee, designed with the new puller that Revit Moto incorporates in its straps. A red puller that makes it easier to adjust the clothing, even with gloves, so that now the biker will not have to remove the gloves to adjust the pants comfortably.

Combination with Poseidon with jacket, anti-slip, thermal lining and protections

On the back of the pants we see two different ways to adjust this pants to its corresponding jacket. The long zipper or the short zipper, for more urban jackets. Some Revit jackets do not have this type of adjustment, but it allows to sew the cordura part of this zipper and have two pieces together.

We also see on the back of the pants two anti-slip straps at the height of the buttocks to get a better grip on the bike.

The inner thermal liner is removable through a single zipper to the outside, so that in the Revit Poseidon 2 we would have a two in one: winter and autumn pants and also for warmer climates. A 4 seasons from Revit.

Finally, these motorcycle pants have Seeflex level 2 protections on the knees, being also prepared to incorporate the SeeSmart CE Level 1 on the hips.
