The SRL-MESH intercom is designed to be inserted into the interior spaces of the motorcycle helmets Shoei Neotec 2, GT-Air 2 and J-Cruise 2. Once installed, the SRL-MESH intercom is virtually invisible from the outside of the helmet without altering the aesthetics of the helmet. The three-button control is located on the left side while on the right side, we have the Mesh Intercom button for one-click connection.
Both the motorcycle helmet Shoei Neotec 2, GT-Air 2 and J-cruise 2 have been studied and designed so that the intercom goes completely unnoticed in the helmet without affecting its safety. The helmet has two triangular areas at the base on each side to connect the module and the intercom antenna. Each unit will be fixed by means of small tabs in the slots. The battery will be installed in the space between the shell and the inner liner at the back of the helmet. Each area has a cover so that the appearance of the helmet is not affected if the intercom is not installed.
The SRL-MESH motorcycle intercom speakers and microphone have been manufactured in collaboration with the audio experts at Harman Kardon to deliver world-class sound inside your motorcycle helmet Shoei. Expertly designed speakers and an all-new microphone provide an unprecedented audio experience. The audio transmitted through the speakers is clear and crisp; and the microphone, with a specially developed microphone sensor, ensures unparalleled performance. Depending on the helmet model, the user can choose between using the wand microphone (Neotec 2 and J-Cruise 2) or cable microphone (GT-Air 2).
SRL-MESH offers two types of communication protocols; Mesh Intercom and traditional 4-way Bluetooth, allowing connection with any Sena device.
In addition, the Mesh Intercom communication protocol has two modes: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) and Group Mesh Intercom.
Open Mesh is the industry's first Mesh Intercom channel system. Like Walkie Talkie systems, Open Mesh allows users to switch from one channel to another. With Open Mesh, riders simply press a button to connect to the Mesh Intercom network, supporting a virtually unlimited number of participants within a coverage range of up to 8 km (Minimum 6 users, 1.6 km between each).
Group Mesh supports a single private group of up to 24 participants and with the same range as Open Mesh, but with the difference that only invited users can join the group. Open Mesh and Group Mesh provide unprecedented audio quality and very stable connectivity.
With voice commands it is possible to control SRL-MESH intercom functions, such as answering the phone or starting a Group Mesh session. SRL-MESH supports voice commands in eight languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.

SRL-MESH can interact with Google Voice Assistant and Siri in the case of Apple, with a simple voice command, so you can take advantage of your smartphone's functions, such as GPS navigation, music playback, voice dialing and other options.
The Sena Motorcycles app offers users a way to visually configure their intercom settings. Download the app to customize various settings and functions, including the ability to manage channel settings for Open Mesh remotely or set up a private group in Group Mesh. The Sena Motorcycles app can be downloaded for free via the App Store and Google Play.
