Note: Compatible with BMW 's Tall Windshield Mount (46-63-8-564-649) OR BMW 's Windshield Adapter (46-63- 8-562-228).

I.e.: If you have the original Touring (Tall) screen from BMW you can mount the Touratech screen directly. If your bike has the Sport (Low) screen you will need an adapter.
