With the Desierto IV for the BMW R 1200 GS (LC), Touratech opens a new chapter in this success story. A new interpretation of the concept from an individualized perspective and maximum riding comfort.

At first glance, the arrows on the headlight typical of the Desierto are striking, as is the pronounced wedge shape of the sides, which provide a harmonious connection between the fairing and the tank. The dynamic design language underlines the agility of the R 1200 GS (LC) and offers the familiar desert look in a new aesthetic. The sides are available in black, gray or white.

The wind deflector itself is more upright than on the original, which contributes to an outstanding riding sensation, improves the feeling of spaciousness and at the same time optimizes wind protection without causing additional turbulence on the helmet. The height and angle of the wind deflector can be individually adjusted during the ride by using the standard adjustment options.

In response to customer wishes, Touratech offers four different wind deflectors for the Desierto IV: a small one, visibly lower than the original GS windshield, with more ventilation possibilities and therefore designed more for sporty riding, and a much higher windshield for longer trips and tours. Both are available in clear and tinted versions.
