Schuberth following its line of never-ending innovation, presents in the C5 model a series of details that make for an unbeatable helmet. Its seamless interior guarantees an unprecedented level of comfort. In addition, the C5 is prepared for the communication system Schuberth SC2 with the corresponding speakers and mesh antennas, Bluetooth and radio.

A long study process and countless hours in the wind tunnel lead to the desired result

With the C5, Schuberth promises maximum safety and superior aerodynamic performance in a compact and lightweight design. This effort in helmet engineering has achieved a shell design that is more modern and aggressive, but also quieter at the same time. In connection with a new neck padding concept, these tests lead to excellent sealing in the lower part of the helmet shell, which means that the C5 achieves a noise level of 85 dB(A) at 100 km/h on a naked bike.

The use of carbon leads to weight reduction in the Schuberth C5

A point of criticism of the predecessor, the C4 Pro, was the relatively high weight of the helmet. Schuberth addressed this fact. A new fiberglass shell with patented Direct Fiber technology, reinforced with carbon for improved shock absorption and reduced weight, makes the C5 an average of 55 grams lighter than its predecessor.

Comfort: home game for the Schuberth C5

The standard head pad is designed to provide comfort for all users, but head shapes vary. With the individual concept of Schuberth, everyone's individual needs are met. Interchangeable head pads allow for an optimized fit even with rounder or oval head shapes. This fit is available for sizes M-XL. With these, but also with all other sizes, the cheek pads can also be individually adjusted.

As a further innovation for increased comfort, Schuberth has given the C5 a new chin strap position. In addition, the visor mechanism now has a memory function. The helmet remembers the position of the visor when you open the chin section and maintains the position when you close it again.

SC2 communication unit with Mesh 2.0 for Schuberth C5

The C5 is compatible with the new Schuberth SC2 communication system based on the SENA 50S. The helmet is factory equipped with HD speakers and three antennas for mesh intercom, Bluetooth intercom and FM radio. The SC2 module is very easy to insert: plug in the HD BOOM microphone, remove the cover on the back and side of the helmet, insert the remote control into the corresponding slot, install the main unit on the back and you are ready to go.

Thanks to Mesh 2.0 technology, it is now possible to connect to a virtually unlimited number of participants. In addition, our new system offers HD speakers as well as Sena's latest microphone, Advanced Noise Control, the digital assistant and a range comparable to the most powerful products on the market.
