The ECE 22/06 approval is an update of the previous ECE 22/05, designed to offer greater protection to motorcyclists. It includes more stringent impact tests, stricter requirements on rider visibility and compatibility with additional safety systems such as motorcycle airbags.

This sun visor complies with DIN en 1836, the European standard for sunglasses, and is 5 mm higher than the previous model to prevent light from entering through the bottom.

Ventilation of the NEOTEC 3 is excellent, with air intakes on the chin guard and top of the helmet, as well as air vents on the back. The EPS system has internal channeling for optimal air circulation inside the helmet.

In terms of soundproofing, the NEOTEC 3 features noise-reducing side padding and an oversized side padding base for a better fit and to avoid gaps with the neck, thus reducing wind noise. In addition, the sun visor mechanism has been repositioned away from the ear area, and the steel cables are sheathed.

The aerodynamics of the NEOTEC 3 have been optimized thanks to an integrated spoiler that provides a high level of stability depending on the type of riding. This spoiler has been developed and tested in the wind tunnel of Shoei.

In terms of communication, the NEOTEC 3 is prepared for the installation of the SRL3 integrated communication system from Shoei, which features a compact and discreet design.
