A sense of pride springs forth when many riders decide to winterize their bikes and you are able to tame the cold. The Kodiak 2 GTX gloves are a 5-finger salute to those who are able to dare to go out when it's really cold. This latest line of defense, these waterproof winter gloves, feature just about every trick possible, except for their own heating system. We didn't name them after one of Alaska's most remote towns for nothing.
Fight the cold and ride in comfort
The Kodiak 2 GTX gloves are truly built to combat the winter cold and ride in complete control. To that end, they feature the fixed GORE-TEX Z-liner and fleece lining, which keeps your hands warm and dry. Water repellent. Soft goatskin and many strategic stretch areas, as well as protective elements taken from our sports and racing glove collections, ensure total control and safety.
With the Kodiak 2 GTX gloves it's all in your hands, whether it's a regular commute during the colder months of the year or a trip to those places most wouldn't dare mention. Ride when others stop.
Connecting Finger fabric on the index finger
No longer will you have to take off your gloves to answer your phone or use your navigation system. This smart fabric is designed specifically for use with touch screens.
The Connect Finger allows you to do exactly this. Strategically placed at the fingertips, you can set or modify your navigation routes, text your friends and send them your location, or use it for whatever you need. This advantage is especially handy during cold weather driving, when temperatures can drop in a heartbeat and your hands can suffer the consequences. Keep your hands warm and comfortable and in control wherever you are.
Rigid thermoplastic polyurethane palm sliders
These sliders are made of a strong, durable and highly abrasion-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane material and are located on the palms of the gloves. These protectors ensure that the gloves slide in the event that the palms of the hands come into contact with the road, preventing them from snagging on the asphalt. The abrasion resistance of gloves equipped with these sliders is greatly increased, thus significantly reducing the risk of injury.
Polyurethane flocking
Flocking is the process of adhering small monofilament fibers, through an electrostatic field, to a surface previously coated with an adhesive. This process creates a velvety texture that collects water.
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation Material
Helps trap and retain body heat, while allowing moisture to escape. The extremely fine microfibers of Thinsulate™ insulation help trap air and block radiant heat loss from the body; it is a highly effective insulator. The high warmth to thickness ratio of this insulation allows for a less bulky garment design and improved freedom of movement.
GORE-TEX® waterproof lining
We take the GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ promise seriously. This liner protects you from water and, with the right base or mid-layer, wicks away moisture, keeping you dry on a warm day, or warm on a cold day.
