With an all-new Racing Carbon outer shell, the revolutionary VAS (Variable Axis System) for the visor and a significantly smoother area around the temples, the RX-7V is the new reference helmet in the high-end segment.
From the also new anti-microbial material liner with an even thinner shell, to the new ducts, improved diffuser and integrated air channels, every part is a showcase of the attention to detail so typical of Arai.
Arai has continuously improved the "impact deflection" performance by learning from real-life scenarios. Thanks to the new smoother and more resistant shell and the VAS system, the RX-7V brings us closer than ever to the ideal helmet shape.
Racing Carbon: Exclusive technology developed in-house by Arai for the GP-6RC F-1 helmet uses carbon fiber as used in the latest generation of commercial aircraft, which is bonded by Arai proprietary resins and reinforced with a Super Fiber band specifically oriented to disperse energy laterally across the shell surface. In the front area, this band increases the shell's resistance without adding thickness or weight and allows the use of a thinner EPS liner, which significantly improves the field of vision upwards, especially useful for racing acrobatics!
With the VAS system, the mounting position of the visor is lowered, allowing an average of 24 mm more to be used around the areas of both temples, in search of the ideal smoother shape that will increase the ability to dissipate impact energy.
As a result, it has been possible to achieve a smoother shell along and below the Snell standard test line.
