The NXR 2, like its predecessor, is the lightest full-face helmet in the Shoei collection. As a motorcyclist accessory integrated in the premium sport style range, it not only brings new features in terms of safety, but also incorporates new amenities and technologies based on maximum performance and comfort.

In terms of design, the NXR 2 inherits that side cut that came in the previous version but this time the practical screen with Pinlock® anti-fogging system is added for a wider field of vision, making it more compact, lighter and more practical.

Shoei the company has started from scratch to create a new screen that is easier to mount and has better visibility for the rider, and to do so, has placed the Pinlock pins on the outside next to the new screen locking system.

Directly for the sporting world, the NXR 2 helmet has updated the ventilation system to offer a much higher performance. The previous model, which had an air inlet on the front that included a single hole, now has two to increase stability and airflow for sport riding in particular. It also has a lower air inlet and two additional air inlets on the sides.

Optimal ventilation also depends on the internal structure of the helmet. In this case, the NXR 2 includes the EPS system, which helps air circulation inside the helmet. A perfect balance has been achieved between incoming and outgoing air, thus obtaining a method capable of maintaining the necessary coolness on the rider's head.

Some of the improvements that Shoei has added to the second generation of the NXR are the aerodynamic shape, the airtight system of the field of vision, the perfect fit of the inner padding... . All these factors influence the soundproofing of the helmet, one of the most sought-after features for sports riding. And thanks to the new vision area rubber, it has been successfully achieved to improve the airtightness and reduce wind noise.
