Like its predecessor, the NXR 2 is the lightest full face helmet in the Shoei sport collection. As a premium sport style biker accessory, it not only includes new safety features, but also incorporates new amenities and technologies based on maximum performance and comfort.

Aerodynamic shape, hermetic system of the vision area, perfect fit of the inner padding... These are some of the innovations that Shoei has added to the second generation of the NXR. All these factors influence the soundproofing, one of the most sought-after features for sporty riding. Thanks to the new vision area rubber, improved sealing and reduced wind noise have been successfully achieved.

In terms of design, the NXR 2 inherits the side cut included in the previous version, but in this new model a new screen system developed by Shoei has been added to obtain a much wider field of vision, making it a more compact, lighter and more practical helmet.

Shoei the new CWR-F2 screen has been developed from the ground up to create a visor that is easier to mount and has a wider field of vision for the rider, by placing the pinlock pins on the outside of the visor next to the renewed visor locking system.

For the sporty style for which the NXR 2 is intended, the ventilation system has been improved to offer a much higher performance. The previous model, which had an air intake on the front that included a single hole, now has two to increase stability and airflow for sporty riding in particular. It also has a lower air inlet and two additional air inlets on the sides.

Optimal ventilation also depends on the internal structure of the helmet. In this case, the NXR 2 full-face helmet includes the EPS system, which helps air circulation inside the helmet. Shoei has achieved a perfect balance between incoming and outgoing air, thus obtaining a method capable of maintaining the necessary coolness on the rider's head.
