Engine guard "Expedition" for KTM 1290 Super Adventure S/R (2021-)

Multiple aligned notches provide maximum stability in the 4 mm thick aluminum base. A sub-construction distributes the forces occurring with maximum efficiency. This makes the *Expedition* engine guard from Touratech one of the strongest on the market. There is no ground clearance restriction.

The multi-profile notches in the 4 mm thick aluminum base plate provide maximum stability. In addition, in the event of an impact, the force is distributed over a large area delimited by 6 bolting points thanks to the additional stainless steel bottom plate attached to the motor. These two plates do not limit the lower ground clearance.

A further advantage of this engine protection is that it extends so far to the front that it also protects the oil filter and radiator from damage.
In addition, synthetic rails on the underside of the base plate serve to completely cover the screw heads, which are already in a lowered position.

The synthetic rails also make it easier to "crawl" over stones, rocks or fallen logs.
As a positive side effect, they prevent dirt from becoming encrusted.
