The GS models of the first generation 4V make their owners enjoy endless kilometers, but over time, on very long rides, a certain discomfort becomes noticeable. The body stiffens up, we get back pain without knowing why, as well as knee and tailbone discomfort.
The reason for this is often the foam padding of the original seats, which has worn out, deteriorated and given way through use. The initial positive characteristics, such as comfort, resilience, optimum hardness and driver position, decline over time. There comes a time when you have to get a new seat for the rider and passenger, to regain the lost fun.
We have it for the R850GS, R1100GS and R1150GS (not Adventure) the "best" seat: anatomically optimized, with a high-strength foam core in various heights and a non-slip, bi-elastic and waterproof "sand-like" upholstery.
