The Touratech RallyeForm crankcase cover for the BMW R1250GS and GSA provides the most complete and seamless coverage for your motorcycle's vulnerable engine and exhaust system. With its unique shape and integrated manifold protection, you'll be ready for whatever the road or trail throws at you.

We start with a 4mm aluminum sheet and use precision tooling with 500,000 pounds of force to press it into the proper shape to provide shielding for your engine block.

Cold stamping the sheet into a three-dimensional shape creates some important benefits. First, the process changes the crystalline structure of the material, resulting in a harder coating for greater dent resistance.

This manufacturing process also completely eliminates the need for welds, a point where cracks often begin. Designed with smooth radius curves, the cover is a much stronger structure than other skid plates on the market. Beyond strength, there are more benefits. With no sharp corners to snag or get stuck on obstacles, the Rallye Form skid plate glides over deep sand or rough terrain making it a smooth experience for both the bike and rider. Producing covers in this manner also provides more clearance for the front tire.

Developed for the racing team of Touratech, who thoroughly tested this product while competing in the Hellas Rally, where they won the big bike category and took second place overall against more than a hundred competing 450cc race bikes. After this amazing result, we started to call this product the Rallye Form oil pan.
