In addition, the engine guard extension protects some parts of the exhaust from damage by rocks or other raised particles from passing through, but for on-road use it also comes in handy! The multiple beveled edges on the 4mm aluminum plate provide maximum stability. The ground clearance is not reduced. The *Expedition* extension for engine protection is easily and quickly mounted on the main stand.

Made of 4mm thick aluminum, this engine cover is designed to complement the protection and appearance of the Expedition engine cover from Touratech. It simply attaches to the center stand of the R1200GS Water Cooled and when folded, creates a continuous aluminum skid plate from front to rear wheel.

The extension installs in minutes with 4 sturdy rubber clamps and 1 large aluminum tab to hold it securely to the center stand without rattling.
