Puig Crankcase Protector for BMW R1300GS (2024-)

The Puig skid plate fits perfectly on the bottom of the bike, integrating with the overall design and providing a more adventurous and personalized look. Its installation does not alter the aerodynamics of the bike.

The lower part of the protector is completely flat, which makes it easier to lift the bike in the garage from the bottom if necessary, and has holes to ensure good cooling and evacuate water, mud, or small stones accumulated. In addition to facilitating the operation of the oil change avoiding the removal of the protector.

Designed and manufactured in Barcelona, it is made of high-end aluminum 4mm thick, resulting in a very resistant and lightweight piece, and has a matte silver anodized finish. It includes specific metal brackets with anti-corrosion treatment painted in textured black for a discreet and elegant finish.

The protector is fixed to the bottom of the bike with anti-vibration rubber mounts that absorb the possible blows that the protector may receive, distributing the force of impact by the different points of attachment and in turn eliminate possible annoying noises that exist when these rubbers are not used.

It is assembled quickly and easily without mechanical knowledge, just follow the step by step instructions provided on paper and can be consulted online.

It is fixed to the bike by iron supports that prevent movement between the three axles.

It is available in matte silver or textured black for extra protection against weathering.

• Designed specifically for the new version of the German maxitrail, it fits perfectly to the bike's center stand, increasing the protection of the exhaust pipe and complementing the Puig crankcase protector (Ref.21829).
• Sturdy and lightweight, the protective plate together with the extension has a simple but aggressive design that enhances the adventurous image of the GS1300.
• With its installation, it improves the protection of sensitive parts such as the underbody of the engine from being damaged by the impact of stones, mud... especially in offroad riding.
• The lower part of the protective plate is flat to make it easier to lift the bike if necessary, also in case of having to overcome an obstacle dragging the crankcase favors sliding.
• It incorporates openings to ensure proper cooling by allowing air to circulate through, so that no stone, sand, water... accumulates inside and to be able to perform maintenance operations such as oil change without removing the protector.
