The 3-part construction is supported by the use of two specially manufactured aluminum alloys. Each optimized for its specific area of application. However, they have one thing in common, they both have a thickness of 4 mm.

The special structure of the extended base plate, together with the high-strength material, ensures maximum rigidity right up to the catalytic converter. Even in the toughest off-road use, it protects the engine and exhaust system alike. Flat ramps make it easy to overcome obstacles of all kinds, whether tree trunks or curbs. Professional robotic welding on high-quality tools ensures consistent quality.

The two separately mounted tank protection plates are hydroformed for a perfect fit. This protects the fuel pump and fuel taps like a shell.

The large cooling opening is retained for improved engine cooling, but can be protected against flying stones with the optionally available grids (01-372-5016-0).

It is simply attached to the appropriate positions on the vehicle. A stainless steel reinforcement at the rear provides additional lateral support. Thus, the Rallye engine guard can be used with most available main stands without restrictions.

Parallel use of the fenders Touratech is also no problem.
