With its good off-road capability the R1200GS is always inviting for long off-road trips. In order not to regret this pleasure we have developed a special engine protection for the R1200GS. Possible shocks and stresses are distributed over the entire engine block, thus optimally protecting the engine casing. In very rough terrain, the front beveled shape of the engine protection makes it much easier to negotiate stones, rocks and uneven terrain.
